Photo Diary * The Golden Triangle Pt. I

In January of 2023, I visited India with my then fiancé, now husband, Jack. Before we got married, it was important for my family and me that Jack meet my grandmother and receive her blessing. We were in India for three weeks - one week in Chennai and two weeks traveling in North India, where I had never been before. During our adventure in the north, we visited India's famous Golden Triangle - Delhi, Agra and Jaipur.

This trio of cities creates a triangle across the states Haryana, Uttar Pradhesh and Rajasthan. We began our visit by spending a couple of days in Delhi, then drove 3.5 hours through Uttar Pradesh -- including a pass through Krishna's hometown of Mathura -- to see the glorious Taj Mahal in Agra. From there, we drove 4 hours through the desert of Rajasthan to reach Jaipur, which is one of the most majestic cities I have ever had the privilege to visit.

This is Part I. It's not in chronological order, just what I wanted to share with you first.
